Zen proverb

When you seek it, you cannot find it.
Your hand cannot reach it
Nor your mind exceed it.
When you no longer seek it,
It is always with you.

yet often the frustrated wait begs the search, without patience there can be no resolution.

What if, to attain, one must forget that which he seeks, and by forgetting doesn't recognize what will eventually be gained? Therefore never content.
